~AP Sleepover~ (Poll #2)

I thought it would be cool if we could all watch an anime movie together! So I picked anime movies right from the anime link on Ani-Pock, so that we can watch the movie and chat! Now I know not everyone likes anime, but don't worry we'll be doing other stuff too, like some games, or telling stories.

What anime movie would you be interested in watching at the AP Sleepover?

To her surprise, Haru learns she came to the rescue of no ordinary cat -- the kitty introduces her to the Kingdom of the Cats, where the feline potentate attempts to arrange a marriage between her and his son. Brought into a world he never knew existed, Haru learns a few lessons about herself as he discovers more about the strange and magical secret world of the cats.

The Girl Who Leapt Through Time:
When 17-year-old Makoto Konno gains the ability to, quite literally, "leap" backwards through time, she immediately sets about improving her grades and preventing personal mishaps. However, she soon realises that changing the past isn't as simple as it seems, and eventually, will have to rely on her new powers to shape the future of her and her friends.

Tsubasa Chronicles: (The Princess of the Country of Birdcages):

In the enchanted Birdcage Kingdom, Syoran -- a brave young archaeologist who also happens to be a martial arts whiz -- and his companion...( read more read more... )s find the land in the grip of an evil king. Determined to set things right, the group resolves to free the people from oppression, as well as help a mute bewitched princess regain her voice.

Origins: (The Spirits of the Past)
In a post-apocalyptic future, Neutral City has sprung up on ruins located between the militant nation of Ragna and the sentient forest that controls the area's water supply. While on an adventure one day young Agito, whose father helped found the town, falls into some deep ruins. There he discovers a stasis structure that still contains one perfectly-preserved living person: a girl named Toola, who comes from the civilization prior to the calamity that destroyed the Moon and ravaged the Earth. Accidentally awakening her, Agito helps Toola adjust to this very different new world, but she has trouble accepting it and is swayed by Colonel Shanuck of Ragna, a man who, like her, awakened from stasis a few years earlier, and seeks a device that could undo the damage done to the world – and Toola is, of course, the key to finding and activating it. But activating Istok could just as well be the doom of the world as its salvation, and that is something the forest will not allow.

Sword of the Stranger:
Hunted by the Mings from China, young Kotaro and his dog meet a nameless samurai ("Nanashi") who is constantly being haunted by dreams of the past which lead him to seal his sword. Among the Mings is a fiercesome Western fighter named Rarou, who desires only to find a worthy opponent. When both groups clash with a Sengoku-era feudal lord, a proud general, and monks torn between faith and survival, the reason behind the Mings' pursuit tests the bond between Kotaro and Nanashi.

lol

The Cat Returns is a Studio Ghibli production. Can't go wrong with the creators of Spirited Away and Howl's Moving Castle !

Plus, I even have it on DVD (but never watched, Lucy sent it t me!). Maybe I can upload it to a password protected area of AP for us to stream!

Now... if everyone is "Watching a Movie"... how do you know they just aren't idle or asleep... like they usually are in Ani-Pock?
Yes in part this goes out to TenTen who has quickly become Ani-Pock's Door Stop with attempts of being an... Idle Idol...

Well Kami, that's the advantage of watching the movie right here on Ani-pock, because we can watch it and discuss it. And if people go away, or are idle, then that's okay, I know there will be a group watching it, so I'm not worried. ^^
