Q: when u made ap what was ur vision of what u wanted to do?
A: Pretty much none of this planned ahead of time. It was built in pieces as modules. AP started out as just a single page, hosting Nanaca Crash. With the influx of 20,000 hits a day, I decided to make a few other pages with my other favorite flash games. Eventually I wanted to "see" who was on and threw on the embedded chat (Cbox).
That sparked the first bit of community as we know today. TeenLink and PunkChick were among the very very first members.

A: My mom and dad are from Taiwain. My grandparents on my mom's side currently live in Taiwain. I don't know where my grandparents were originally from before they escaped the cultural revolution to Taiwan.

Did you know that I finally found a class that won't let you use a MAC? This is good reasoning to realize your Macs are last and therefore should get rid of them all.

Q: When was the last time you wore jeans? :O
A: Probably senior year of highschool - it was required for marching band. It was either a white or black T-Shirt with jeans. I had to go buy a pair!

A: That's strange. I guess that class doesn't use Windows PC's either, since I run Windows on my Mac.

A: Yes. That genie from Aladin is out there somewhere!

A: Take him to the honey I shrunk the kids ride at Disney, that should make him cute again.

Q: How do you feel being so late with the Ani-Pock reveal?
A: Well this is season 2. It's true I popped up toward the end of season 2. I don't mind though, I'm much more interested in learning about other peoples, although this is fun.
Q: How did you learn about Nanaca Crash? How did you find the one that you posted on Ani-Pock if it was so hard to find?
A: I found it on MegaTokyo. One of the authors was ranting about it. I had to google search Japanese websites, and finally found it attached to a forum post as a .zip. Literally took a good few hours hunting for that file. It was down everywhere.

A: Hmmm Well I know my LEAST favorite is "Rolanda".... ummm I think pretty much everyone calls me Pocky? Other nick names given include Poi-ni
Q: Will you please add the vocaloid back to AP?
A: I took it down originally because it was in eternal maintenance mode. I'll have to track down the code snipped again!!
Q: Are you thinking of the next AP Event and if so...what is it?
A: I think it's time for another Drawing Contest, with DealExtreme prizes! MegaMega Skype Cast could also be fun.
Q: Uhm..the Ani-Pock Mascot has been years in the making...is it finally happening?
A: There have been various ideas thrown around. Unfortunately all the artists are really busy and I don't draw myself... so it kind of gets stuck at the idea stage unless an artist sends in stuff and works with me on revisions. I'm at fault though, I should follow up with artists too. What would you like it to be?

A: I like taking things apart, figuring out how they work, putting them back together, mixing and matching parts, doing brainstorming techniques with my student group, making AWESOME things with my Mac

A: Does an earthquake count? It's super and natural...

A: Tough one! I think I can eat more cotton candy than marshmallows... marshmallows I think would fill me up too fast! Wow marshmallows has a weird spelling.
Q: Ever thought of inventing flavoured pocky floss?
A: That sounds genius. Instead of a little round box, it should be dispensed through a big plastic Pocky stick. It would encourage flossing everywhere!!
Q: Do you think any of the AP Couples will actually get together, and if so who?
A: Weeeeeeeeellllll let me peer into my crystal ball. I see TL... he is dressed in green... and there is... A GIRL! A GIRL! It looks like he is going to marry a girl... now the face... it's getting sharper... it looks like.... MOCHI! MOCHI! Aw the crystal ball is low on batteries.
Seriously though, I think there are some special people, who have known each other for very long, and who talk outside of Ani-Pock that might meet when they are older. As to getting together, the problem seems to be location location location. I know long distance relationships do work in this world, but I personally think you need to be living in the same place with each-other to really know the person.
Q: Do you like to dance in the rain?
A: And then die of pneumonia ?!
Q: When is the last time you cried?
A: I can't pin it down exactly. But sometimes your mind wanders and you gaze way into the future, and when you imagine something terrible happening to someone you care about, you cry inside a little. It sounds silly, but just the thought of being disconnected to someone you're close with hurts. And I cried at the end of Little Mermaid 3. xD (kidding)
Q: Do you sing in the car or shower...if so, what songs do you sing?
A: I don't sing in the shower or car... mostly cause I can't remember any of the lyrics...even for my favorite songs. I whistle along sometimes, I'm pretty good at that. By the way, Jack johnson on your iPod speakers in the shower on Saturday mornings = awesomness.
Q: Would you date a "Pocky Girl"?
A: In a heart beat. I can see it now. Lady and the Tramp dinner. But with Pocky instead of spaghetti.
Q: Do you believe in familiars?
A: Interesting. I did not know this word. For others that don't either, I found this: "Minor demons who, at Satan's command, become the servants of a human wizard or witch." So, I guess not!
Q: Do you hate money?
A: It is a necessary evil. But it gets you into Disney Land, so what to do?
Q: What was your first kiss like, and who was it?
A: Welllll my first Hershey's kiss was eaten at a train station, quite by surprise. It fell from the sky I suppose. It was white chocolate flavored. :DDDD
Q: Do you get stressed a lot, or know how to get rid of stress?
A: Everyone gets stressed. Although now a days, thanks to a certain someone, I seem to be WORRYING about stuff instead of stressing about it. XD umm right now it's all stress from the balancing act called college life, which you are well familiar with. As for getting rid of it, talking it out with friends is best. Grab a tea, something to eat, or a night time walk- any with a friend helps a great deal.
Q: Who are your Ani-pockers successful? Like where do you picture some of us in five years?
A: Everyone that finds Ani-Pock and stays here, is special. The "normal" people rarely stick around. I think that's a very cool part of Ani-Pock. It'll be interesting to see how Ani-Pock changes as a result of people become more mature/serious with time. Since we have so many young members currently, I hope each of them will continue toward higher education. But back to the question. Special people find special niches in life. We'll all have interesting stories to share one day.

Q: What plans do you have for the future of your website?
A: I'd like to do something called co-browsing. Basically the area where the community blog could be controlled by a person or a set of members. Whatever one person changes (like navigates to a different page), everyone else sees. This would make it easier to "show" eachother videos or cool things on the webs. I like what that website Rin has been posting does- iaminlikewithyou or something. Co-browsing experience!
Q: Are you someone that has regrets, or do you just let things slide off your back?
A: I regret things all the time. I'll do something and then later on it'll really bug me until I at least try to set things right. There's also a lot of stupid embarrassing moments that haunt me at the most random times xDDD I'm like "what was I thinking!" lol
Q: What is the most ambitious thing you've done this year?
A: Very cool question! Year-to-date wise, it was probably doing two internships over the summer, at the same time. School year wise, it'd probably be telling someone how I really felt about them. Though, no response yet D:

A: Yes. Let's change that, please. xD
Q: What do you want to do after school?
A: Work! All the graduate programs in Product Design require at least 2-3 years of work experience. After the last three internships I've done, I totally see how why! You learn so much by doing, from engineering peculiarities to the way business gets done. Maybe someday I can go full time Ani-Pock XD
Q: Has it always been your plan to keep Ani-Pock a site that members can remain anonymous on?
A: Yes, because it encourages new members to join! The barrier of a sign up form is huge, even if its name and password. New people don't know what Ani-Pock's about, so it should be as open as possible.
Q: If you could have one super power, what would you want it to be, and why? Would you abuse it, or would you use it only for good purposes?
A: OOoo had this question earlier! I'd be teleportation! You could visit anyone at any time, heck even going to classes would be better- imagine it's 8:45 AM, and if you just snapped your fingers you were there. I'd use it for good too! I'm dreaming here, so stay with me. First I could transport stuff all over the world. Sayonara UPS or FedEX. PockyExpress would beat anything! Second, I could save people! I mean its a matter of being in the right time and the right place, but if you see something, at least you can get them to safety. I bet there's a lot of cool things you could do with teleportation. Heck I could even go visit the moon, another planet or another solar system!
ALSO, I could get the freshest baked, just-dipped Pocky anytime. :]

A: I dropped it because someone didn't tutor me over the summer. XD (Turns out my language requirement was already satisfied, so it freed up 5 units. Oddly I'm taking 19 units now, more than before I dropped Japanese xDD)
