~AP Sleepover Feedback~

Hi everyone! I am sorry for all the posts today, but this post is important. For those who attended the sleepover, give us your feedback. Email me at rin@ani-pock.net or leave a comment. The sleepover started out a little shaky, but it had its fun moments. I really liked watching the movie together as a community. However, for the next sleepover coming up August 1-2 for those who missed this one, we need to know what you thought. For instance, what did you like, and not like, and what would you like to include at the next sleepover, not want to include? K.I.T.T. A-P Exclusive

This week THC and I met with K.I.T.T. the Knight Rider car, as he came all the way up from California on his break from filming.

We snapped some excellent photos and asked some tough questions. None of which, you will see here.

Otherwise, you should know, this is THE car you may have seen in the new Knight Rider NBC movie that was shown earlier this year. K.I.T.T. and the cast of the movie will return this fall to NBC in a new spinoff series of the classic.

K.I.T.T. as you may know is a 2008 Shelby GT KR Mustang. There are a limited ammount of cars produced for the movie, and one made for a Ford-sponsored contest to be given away. The car has such a dark window tint outside, it is darned near impossible to see out! The car was driven by actor Justin Schaefers who played "the stoner kid" in the movie.

He showed us the inside of the car, which had masking tape applied to certain interior features of the car so that stunt drivers know what buttons to push and when, etc.

Hello everyone! It looks like July 18 is best for the majority, and it was Paf's idea to extend this to a 2 day event. So July 18 & 19, aka, this weekend, will be the Ani-Pock Sleepover. We will watch Howl's Moving Castle on one day, and the other day watch what you all selected to watch in the poll. However, as this is being kicked off next weekend, I need to know who is attending, and what media you have access to, ie. Skype, chat, and/or mebeam. So please leave a comment here (or email me) of what date(s) you'll be attending, and media.

The Cat Returns:
Haru is a girl who one day saves the life of a cat while on her way to school. Brought into a world he never knew existed, Haru learns a few lessons about herself as he discovers more about the strange and magical secret world of the cats.

The Girl Who Leapt Through Time:
When 17-year-old Makoto Konno gains the ability to, quite literally, "leap" backwards through time, she immediately sets about improving her grades and preventing personal mishaps. However, she soon realises that changing the past isn't as simple as it seems, and eventually, will have to rely on her new powers to shape the future of her and her friends.

Tsubasa Chronicles: (The Princess of the Country of Birdcages):
Experience magic, mystery and intrigue in this anime adventure. In the enchanted Birdcage Kingdom, Syoran -- a brave young archaeologist who also happens to be a martial arts whiz -- and his companion...( read more read more... )s find the land in the grip of an evil king. Determined to set things right, the group resolves to free the people from oppression, as well as help a mute bewitched princess regain her voice.

Origins: (The Spirits of the Past)
In a post-apocalyptic future, Neutral City has sprung up on ruins located between the militant nation of Ragna and the sentient forest that controls the area's water supply. While on an adventure one day young Agito, whose father helped found the town, falls into some deep ruins. There he discovers a stasis structure that still contains one perfectly-preserved living person: a girl named Toola, who comes from the civilization prior to the calamity that destroyed the Moon and ravaged the Earth. Accidentally awakening her, Agito helps Toola adjust to this very different new world, but she has trouble accepting it and is swayed by Colonel Shanuck of Ragna, a man who, like her, awakened from stasis a few years earlier, and seeks a device that could undo the damage done to the world – and Toola is, of course, the key to finding and activating it. But activating Istok could just as well be the doom of the world as its salvation, and that is something the forest will not allow.

Sword of the Stranger:
Hunted by the Mings from China, young Kotaro and his dog meet a nameless samurai ("Nanashi") who is constantly being haunted by dreams of the past which lead him to seal his sword. Among the Mings is a fiercesome Western fighter named Rarou, who desires only to find a worthy opponent. When both groups clash with a Sengoku-era feudal lord, a proud general, and monks torn between faith and survival, the reason behind the Mings' pursuit tests the bond between Kotaro and Nanashi.

Hi everybody!~ ^.^ I know you have heard a lot about an "AP Sleepover", being directed by Rose, and so I have come on board to help out. I've talked with Rose and we have had lots ideas to make this fun. Everyone is invited to attend! We will be having a cross-site sleepover, using the AP Chat, Skype (audio conference), and Mebeam (webcam conference). We realize that not everyone has skype, or a webcam, so we'll be having it on AP chat as well, so everyone can be involved. ^_^ So, now comes the other details, of dates, and what we should do. So look out for polls, where everyone can decide what is best.


Technical info: If anyone is interested in getting Skype, it is a free download, that allows you to talk pc to pc for free. Saves on cellphone minutes. ^.~ And for mebeam, you don't have to sign up for anything, just need a cam.
